In Spring 2026, Acadia’s D2C website was reexamined to strengthen the medical scrubs brand’s presence in North America. As Acadia’s primary customer acquisition and sales channel, the website needed a clearer brand story, stronger product discovery, more intuitive navigation, and a consistent experience across desktop and mobile.
As Brand Creative Manager at Merrytex, Angel Wang independently owned the strategic and creative direction of the project. Her contribution included auditing the original website, identifying usability and communication issues, conducting competitor and UI research, defining the responsive content and layout strategy, and writing the complete customer-facing copy for the website.
The resulting direction connected brand strategy, UI thinking, e-commerce customer journeys, art direction, and full-site copywriting within one cohesive digital experience. The recommendations and copy were handed off to the UX designer and IT team for implementation using Shopify, demonstrating Angel’s ability to lead multidisciplinary creative work from research and diagnosis through direction and launch.

AI Usage Note All strategic thinking, website auditing, UI and competitor research, recommendations, and original copywriting were completed independently by Angel Wang. OpenAI Codex was used only to help restructure, condense, translate, and adapt the original internal work into this portfolio presentation. AI supported the presentation process, while the research, creative judgment, and project ownership remained entirely Angel’s.
